That has been the commitment of the Wylymar Farms family for over 70 years and 5 generations.  We farm over 600 acres in Southern Wisconsin with a love and respect for the land and our animals that shows in our high quality Black Angus beef, poultry and corn products.

Wyllie McMicken began a lifelong career and love of farming with his father and uncle at age 18.   When Wyllie and Lydia married in 1951 they moved into the hired hand's house on the main farm in Plainfield, IL.  In 1954, Wyllie and Lydia brought home their daughter Margo and with her Wylymar Farms was born.

Today, Wylymar Farms has 3 locations (all in Wisconsin), around 100 Black Angus beef cows, 6 horses, chickens in the summer, and lots of hay and corn.  Wyllie, Lydia, and Margo are still involved with the farm everyday and have instilled their knowledge and love of farming in Margo’s eldest daughter, Emily Harris, who has been managing the family farm since 2003.
